great book

The book is really good from a clinician's perspective. Well written, easy to follow, useful. Would have liked to see more case examples and perhaps an appendix of paradigms. Overall, great book.

Why no color images?

I bought the kindle edition to read on my iPad. Getting through the first chapter I was having trouble understanding the figures..then it occurred to me...no color. The legends clearly describe color in the figures to show the functional overlays on the anatomic images, as well as to differentiate among data on graphs etc... While the text itself was clear (a few typos noted in the first few pages, though), I returned the kindle edition for a refund. What use is a digital edition if it renders the figures uninterpretable? **** for the clear explanations, but * for the useless grayscale figures.

Good, short introduction for the radiologist/tech that is going to be involved with clinical functional MRI. The fMRI chapters total less than 160 pages.
If you are looking for a comprehensive text, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a quick introduction to clinical fMRI, then great book.
