Has detail description of experimental tools and methods used in biofilm research. Easy to understand the fundamental concepts of electrochemistry that are required to understand the microsensors.

Disappointing book for biofilms research

Purchased the book for studying and understanding the biofilms. However, the book is written in a boring way. It does not make understanding of the fundamentals of biofilm research easier, rather it makes the reader lost in redundancy. The book also contains many typos and errors. Techniques and procedures defined in the book contains many missing points, and even some of them are outdated. Electrochemistry is poorly covered, and it is poorly connected to the other chapters of the book. If you expect to learn the basics of electrochemistry, which is important in biofilms research, you will be disappointed with this book.
